therapy begins with feeling understood

I believe that one of the most meaningful parts of therapy is having a space where you can show up as your full self without needing to have everything figured out, explain yourself perfectly, or hide the parts of yourself that feel difficult to understand.

Many of us develop patterns of thinking, coping, and relating that helped us navigate earlier experiences. Over time, those same patterns can leave us feeling anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck. Therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, explore where those patterns come from, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

As a relational therapist, I believe that the relationship we build together is an important part of the healing process. Through our work together, I pay attention not only to what you share, but also to the patterns that emerge within our relationship. These moments can offer valuable insight into how you connect with others, express your needs, navigate vulnerability, and experience closeness.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuine. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can laugh, cry, be honest, ask questions, and explore the parts of yourself that may feel complicated or difficult to share elsewhere. I will offer compassion and support while also gently challenging you when it may help you grow.

I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Baruch College and have experience working in both private practice and community-based mental health settings. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, attachment patterns, self-esteem, trauma, and life transitions.

My goal is to help you better understand yourself, create more fulfilling relationships, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
